Navigating Recovery's Services

Navigating Recovery offers a wide range of services to get you started on your recovery journey or to support your addiction-free lifestyle.  In addition to our regular meetings and groups, we offer the following: 

Additionally, we can assist you with the following:

  • Assistance in finding a treatment/rehabilitation or detox program that's right for your needs
  • Support to family and friends affected by the addictive behavior
  • Answers to questions you may have about medication-assisted programs with a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Relationships with other community resources, such as medication-assisted treatment and outpatient programs

1:1 Peer Recovery Support

Rhonda is a compassionate peer support specialist who assists and guides clients. She conducts regular one-on-one support meetings, develops recovery strategies, coordinates client schedules and logistics, and responds to any emergencies as needed.


Combining Soberlink monitoring with coaching is a great way to stay accountable and on track.


With her passion for helping people as a peer support specialist and advocate, she's empathetic and possesses exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Rhonda can quickly identify warning signs in clients and provide effective interventions and emotional support.

What Does a Peer Support Specialist Do?

Peer Support specialists are trained and certified to help guide and mentor people in addiction recovery. 
  • Meets with clients on a regular weekly basis to offer personal support
  • Responds to clients' calls/text in between regular sessions as needed for extra support 
  • Developing recovery plans, coping methods, and rehabilitation strategies with the client
  • Arranging 1:1 coaching appointments, therapy sessions, support groups, and other resources to aid the client
  • Reporting any unusual behavior, conflicts, or recovery deviations to the relevant professionals
  • Provides ongoing Accountability via SoberLink
  • Conducts assessments and provides feedback to the client, medical professionals, and the family

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/ AED/ Training and Certification 

In cooperation with the American Red Cross, Navigating Recovery offers monthly First aid/CPR/AED training and certification classes, including administering Narcan (naloxone) emergency anti-overdose medication.

Training and Certification 

Trainings take place every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Space is limited to 6 participants. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We have a class every first Sunday morning of the month at Navigating Recovery in Lafayette. 

The cost is $90 per person.

Nutrition & Healthy Lifestyle Coaching

Scott is a Licensed Practical Nurse and Certified Sports Nutrition coach. He is excited to expand the services offered at Navigating Recovery as he is passionate about helping people live healthy, happy, and substance-free lifestyles. 


Join Scott for a monthly,  in-person session on the first Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. to help guide your health and wellness goals. After our discussion and Q&A, we will pick a healthy recipe and enjoy preparing and eating together.
